Asure Ascot Motor Inn - Taupo

I was kinda surprised by the fantastic value for the price I paid, especially given the spacious and well-equipped room. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home, and the location was perfect for easy access to shops and the lake.

The food for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

Booking was simple and the staff/owners went out of their way to select a room that was appropriate for me - I have a walking disability. I'd happy stay at the Ascot again.

The rooms were impeccably clean with nice decor and electric blankets.

There was nothing I didnt like.

Great stay overall! Rooms were clean and spacious, and the check-in process was a breeze. While our sofa bed was out of order, the three beds were still comfortable enough. Loved the cozy decor and convenient parking. Perfect location for exploring the area. Would definitely return!

Loved the place, had a superb stay during our 2 week visit. Our apartment with all the essentials as well as queen bed was luxurious...

Facilities were good, however Wi-Fi connection was weak.

Had a splendid stay while enjoying the nearby attractions, especially the Taupo Museum and Great Lake Taupo, which are both just a pleasant walk away. The room was meticulously clean, boasting a spacious living area and a large spa bath that was a lovely treat after a day out. The staff were communicative and went the extra mile, even supplying a high chair for our child, which really made our family stay easier and more enjoyable.

clean and spacious room, but heater issue

The room wassuper clean and cozy with good blackout curtains. I appreciated the spacious layout and the firm bed, made for good rest. The lovely little courtyard provided a private sunbathing spot that enhanced the experience.

The heater tended to turn off by itself, a bit chilly at times.

The spa bath was a great treat, but the room had ants around.

Convenient location right next to the Taupo lake and the shopping area.

the experience was fantastic and i will come back. i had a luxurious apartment with a particularly good view of the lake & snowy mountains. location: the hotel was so close to the lake, cafes, restaurants and shopping, and the mountains lovely. tried some takeout specials at mcdonald's, luckily it was around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

I stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious and comfortable for my family, and with only a short 5-minute stroll down the hill, we enjoyed the scenic views of Lake Taupo every day .

Everything very good

Only that when we ordered a meal from the motel we were charged more than $10 which we couldn't see in guest book. However the food was excellent!
